This 3 Star Diving Holiday in Sliema, Malta is available for between 1 and 4 persons staying in 3 star hotel on the Strand between Sliema and Gzira which is conveniently placed for Valletta. It is a good location to gain access to most dive sites around the island and also an excellent base for those wishing to do some wreck diving in the Grand Harbours of Valletta. There are many historics wrecks to dive within a very short space making Sliema the ideal diving holiday for 7 days or a short 4 day break.

The Accommodation - 115 The Strand Hotel 3*

Ideally situated on the Sliema waterfront at Marsamxett harbour, this combination of self-catering apartments and hotel rooms enjoy spectacular views of the capital city, Valletta.

The 115 The Strand is within walking distance of the city centre Sliema which is one of the most affluent tourist area and shopping centre in Malta. A regular bus service to Valletta and other places of interest stops just outside the hotel.

At the panoramic top floor roof garden, a swim-spa is exclusively available for guests. Elsewhere, the restaurant and bar have been recently refurbished. Also located on the top floor, they offer a great variety of snacks during the day and a dinner service in the evening. A lobby bar in the foyer is also open 24-hours throughout the year for your convenience. Live entertainment is also organised once a week. 

The Diving

The diving centre is located 10 minutes walk away and pick up from the Hotel can be arranged as well. The package will include 10 guided shore dives and these will be tailor made depending on your level of ability and your diving wish list. The package includes weights and air. Should you need equipment please email us. You are ideally placed to dive the many wrecks in the Valletta Grand Harbour as it is a short drive away. Our aim is to make your four day break a fantastic diving experience and to show you the excellent diving the Maltese Islands are renowned for.

Getting Here and Transfers

On arrival at Malta International Airport you will be greeted by your transfer and taken to your hotel. The drive from the airport is 20 minutes. The package does not include your return transfer as people like to make their own plans, however should you wish us to organise this for you we can. Various airlines now fly to Malta and you can use our flight booker to find the best fares. Prinicipal carriers with good prices if flexible are Air Malta, Easy Jet, Ryan Air and British Airways. Flights can be found for as little as £60 return outside of peak season.
