PADI Scuba Diver
The Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification, which is perfect for people on holiday or who only plan to dive a couple of times a year. It can be completed in as little as two days.
PADI Open Water Diver Course
This is the first course available under PADI needed to achieve certification as an open water diver. A recognised qualification at dive centres around the world that allows you that first step up the diving ladder. The course is run over 3-4 days and follows 5 academic sessions, 5 confined and 4 open water dives. Diving theory is taught using instructor presentations whilst you hone your diving skills in confined water. Everything then comes together during the open water dives under the supervision of your instructor.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the next stage for the aspiring diver. It consists of 5 supervised and structured dives, which take you through various underwater activities with the aim of increasing your experience and capabilities. The course is run over a minimum of 2 days but there is a fair amount of flexibility to fit around your holiday.
PADI Rescue Diver
This three-day course is a very important step in expanding knowledge and experience. As with all PADI courses, it is based on the individual's performance and involves classroom sessions, confined water practice and skill development over four open water training scenarios. Among the techniques mastered are: Self-rescue, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment considerations, tired dive tows, panicked diver, response from shore or boat with both a conscious and unconscious victim, distressed diver, surfacing an unconscious diver, unconscious diver at the surface, egress with an unconscious diver and first aid for pressure related injuries.
We provide a variety of other educational and PADI recognised courses for those seeking to qualify in Malta. Please enquire for more information.
