Six Dive Plan

Day 1

9 am Marfa Point approx 10 minute drive from dive centre, Marfa's main entry point offers a sheltered, shallow area where divers can comfortably re-acclimatise to the underwater environment before exploring the walls and valleys beyond.

Day 1

1pm Anchor Bay approx 10 minute drive from dive centre with the Popeye Village film set as a backdrop, the real focus of this dive is the enormous cavern located along the cliff wall at a maximum depth of 10 metres. Anchor Bay cavern is the largest accessible cavern on Malta with the grand entrance creating a deep blue back drop indicating the clear exit making this dive popular with experienced divers as well as those new to the sport.

Day 2

Comino 2 Boat Dive Day Trip Comino Caves beyond the silver cloud of fish, an impressive entrance appears. Divers switch on torches and slowly explore the beautiful ceiling of bright yellow soft corals and deep red sponge before swimming through the swim-thru to the open water beyond. Once through this swim through, divers are presented with impressive underwater topography and an abundance of aquatic life.

Alex's Cave is an impressive, dome cavern with fascinating ceiling formations, white sand bottom and splendid light filtration. Divers hovering at the entrance are silhouetted against an impressive backdrop of the deep blue open sea. One also gets to moor at a rock formation known as The Mushroom and divers enter the water to explore the valleys and boulders below. A wall dive, teeming with aquatic life, is where less experienced divers explore within the cavern itself.

Day 3

Gozo 2 Dive Day Trip The Blue Hole with the impressive Azure Window as a backdrop, this is a truly magnificent dive. The Blue Hole is a beautiful circular limestone rock creation, formed over thousands of years and presents divers with a breathtaking entry and exit. After entering, divers descend through the crystal clear water and exit the Blue Hole at 15 metres through an impressive underwater archway teeming with aquatic life.

The Inland Sea this is a lagoon of salt water cut off from the open sea by an imposing limestone cliff face. It is not until closer inspection that a narrow ravine is seen leading small boats of sightseers from the pool out through to the Mediterranean.

Day 2

9 am Ghar Lapsi approx 35 minute drive through roughly the centre of Malta, passing Mdina (The Silent City) and close by to the prehistoric temples of Hagar Qim. Spectacular light filtration in this one of Malta's most popular shallow cavern swim thru's, and multiple entry/exits provide divers with every opportunity to enjoy this impressive system. Divers exit to the open sea and expanse of fine white sand where rays, octopus and cuttlefish are often spotted, visibility often exceeding 35 metres.

Day 2

1pm Slugs Bay approx 5 minutes by our speedboat, this relaxing dive offers an abundance of marine life among the boulders and shallow underwater valleys. Due to the shallow depth of 9 metres bottom times are frequently long, offering plenty of opportunity to explore where numerous divers have regularly found fossilized shark teeth in the encrusted rocks where octopus, moray eels and cuttlefish search for food.

Day 3

9am The Rozi approx 10 minute drive from the dive centre to the top of Malta, where the ferries leave for Gozo. This is an excellent wreck dive scuttled in 1991 to create an attraction for divers and now resting upright on white sand at 36 metres; this 40 metre long tugboat is regarded as one of the best and most accessible dives in Malta.

Day 3

1pm The Madonna approx 10 minute drive from the dive centre to Marfa. Entry at one of the sheltered shallow areas of Marfa Point and at 18 metres a small cave can be found containing an almost life size statue of The Madonna within a 25 metre drop off wall which is home to octopus and moray eels.
